Missed

It is 2 year as of today September 1st 2012 since my papaw passed away. I miss him as much today as I did the day he passed. Sometimes even more. My papaw meant the world to me. I wish with all my heart that my Josh could remember how much my papaw loved him. My Jamey remembers him and for that I am glad .

I love you and miss you Papaw.

Back to school pictures

Back to School

School starts back on the 22nd here for Jamey. Can you believe that he will be going to 1st grade. I will add pictures when I take them the first day. We have meet the teacher on the 20th. I hope he has one as nice as he did last year. I feel a little worried about another year but I am just mom I know he will do great. He is already excited about it . He spent today trying to remember his lunch number and he got it finally after a few hours. He was so proud of himself. I Love my big boy and I am so proud of him.

On another note Josh has tubes put in his ears on Tuesday.  I am gonna worry. Again I am mom that is my job. I just hope this gets rid of his ear infections.

Please keep us in your prayer as things are still not going great. We really need all the prayer we can get right now.

As I am now the co-den leader for Tiger cubs . I took some pictures the other night of Jamey making Pine cone bird feeders out of peanut butter, lard and lots of bird seed. All of our Tigers loved it. There is about 4 in our pack right now and after our Fall round up we hope to have more.

Just Fishing

 Well after church on Sunday we decided to go fishing at the guana tolomato matanzas perserve. we did not catch a fish big enough to eat but we sure caught a lot of blue crabs. The boys had fun fishing and swimming both. I usually do not like to fish but as I was catching the blue crabs like crazy I had a great time. Also as I was fishing I did not take a whole lot of pictures but I did get a few. These are also pictures of the crabs after I cooked them as I forgot to take any before LOL next time I will.

This is the view as you walk from your car. there is a little beach and then water as far as you can see. it is truly a lovely little spot .

 As you can see the boys all had fun that is Jimmy way out in the water fishing away. Jamey and Josh both love to fish but they will swim just as quick . Jamey has finally also gotten to where he will go out in the water to his neck . It is amazing because he would never do that till now.

V B S 2012

Today was the finally day of Vacation Bible School for 2012. Jamey came in second place with his age group. He also got prizes for 2 days worth of coloring pages and memory Verse.

Today was water and slime day so the kids got wet and gooey .

I missed one day of going with him because I had an asthma attack monday night that ended me up in the ER and I am still recovering from it.

I think Jamey had a good time and Josh is going to be old enough to go next year wow the time flies. My babies are getting so big.

Kindergarten WaterDay

Jamey's school held water day on Tuesday. They had kindergarten and 3rd grade and the rest of the school over the next 2 days. Jamey was so excited about it but out of 7 water slides he only went down 5 . He was not happy with 2 of them.
They also had pop ice as the kids called them to help keep the cool. Jamey's sub Teacher Ms. McKinley also got in the act and went down a few slides. She s the dark haired lady in the pink shirt in the one picture. The little blonde girl is Krissy she is in Jamey's class and goes to our church also.
I almost forgot the camera and had to run back home for it. Lucky me I only live about 6 minutes away from the school.
I stayed and helped till after lunch as there where about 16 wet kids and one bathroom in the class so I walked them 2 at a time down the hall to the bathrooms so they could change . Jamey then talked me into having lunch with him and as it is end of year and he has asked me a few times I stayed and had lunch with him and one of his buddies fro our field trip to the zoo. Friday is the last day of school for the year I can not believe how quickly it has flown by.
