Spooktacular

 This weekend we went to  cub scout camping trip called Spooktacular . The boys where able to shot BB guns, Bow and arrows,play on an adventure trail, Camp out and just have an over all good time.

 This is the adventure trail. Tug of war and playing on the bridge at the fishing area.

 Zombie first aid and making trick or treat bags .

Archery. All of our boys got 2 out of 5 arrows in their target first time and Jamey was almost a bulls eye.

 Josh is allowed to go with us but he is not able to do the shooting yet LOL which is good . He was so mad because he wanted to shoot too . He kept saying me big boy mommy me big boy. I love this silly boy.

 The 100 foot climbing wall Jimmy and I got to climb it but my Tiger pack did not for safety reasons. We told them they can do it next year. That seemed to help some . Jamey on the other hand was like not going to happen ever mommy. Josh wants to try it.

I think we are taking to this cub scout thing rather well. We have loved every minute of it . Other then the wind and cool temps this weekend it was a really great time.

Fall and Fire Stations

We do have a little bit of fall here in Florida it is not much but this proves it does exist. I still miss my Kentucky Falls but this made me feel a little bit better.

 

Josh was being silly last night , He ran up to me  tackled my legs and gave me this big smile. Then he says so sweetly I LOVE YOU MOMMY. Man I love my kids.

 Monday nights are our cub scout nights. we decided to have a go see it and took the kids across the street to the Fire Station. Every meeting we have the pledge and the cub Scout Motto.

 This meeting was also different as we had a pack meeting not a den meeting as we have a camping trip coming up. Yes it is at the place where I got Bite by the spider. Ewww not looking forward to seeing those again.

 Getting a view of a fire fighter in full gear trying to make the kids more at ease with them so they will not be scared in case they ever need them. They tell me you would be amazed at the kids that will run from a fire fighter n full gear. As Josh was not to sure about it . I was not surprised. We go to church with the fire chief and his co-chief.
 Guess  will have to see if we can spend time with them and their kids to put him more at ease.

The kids got to climb all in this big truck and play around with it they loved it. They all had a good time.

Jacksonville Air Show.

 Today was an awesome day. We took the boys to the Jacksonville air show to see the Navy's Blue Angels. Jamey is in love with these planes ever since he got a toy one last summer in DC at the air and space museum . Josh had more fun playing in the sand then watching the air show but hey to each his own.

 This is so cool sky drawing LOL. Also the Raptor here was so loud it was awesome. Yes mommy is into the planes as much as the boys . :)

 Josh was being silly . The weather was perfect as it was not to hot. Of course I still got a sun burn but, this is normal for me.

 This nice lady behind us loaned the boys her extra ear muffs. They thought they where wonderful during some of the louder planes.
